Modular School Complex in Iceland - Speed, Mobility and Precision
In the city of Kópavogur, we completed an impressive project consisting of two modular buildings with a total area made up of 54 modules. The entire complex was produced in a record 120 days, while on-site assembly took only 10 days. The project is specific for its mobility – it was designed in accordance with Icelandic standards for permanent or temporary use, allowing easy disassembly and reassembly at a new location.
The interior features Knauf Cleaneo acoustic ceilings, while the exterior is clad with a durable washable façade made of galvanized cassettes. With advanced heating and drainage systems integrated into the structure itself, this building provides a high level of comfort and safety in demanding island conditions.
